Burgundy, Languedoc and Jura since 1928

The Collovray & Terrier family is a family of winegrowers who own several estates in France. United around the heritage of a long history and a shared passion, they proudly cultivate the terroirs of Burgundy, Languedoc and Jura.

1928

Roots in Davayé

It all began in 1928 in Davayé, a small village in southern Burgundy. Joanny Collovray settled there as a tenant farmer, growing vines and cereals and making goat's cheese.

1956

Henri takes over

His son Henri took over. He continued mixed farming and developed the family's winegrowing business, planting vines in the “Mâcon-Davayé” appellation.

1986

Birth of Domaine Deux Roches

Christian and Jean-Luc, joined by their wives Brigitte and Florence, founded Domaine Deux Roches together. The name came naturally: the vines stretch around the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson.

1997

Heading for Languedoc

Ten years later, Christian and Jean-Luc set off to explore new horizons. They settled in Antugnac, in the heart of Cathar country.

1998

Birth of Rijckaert

At the same time, Jean Rijckaert, passionate about wine and terroir, founded Domaine Rijckaert in Burgundy and the Jura.

2007

Florent Rouve takes over

Florent Rouve continues the work of Jean Rijckaert, respecting the spirit of the estate and bringing out the minerality of its terroirs.

Today, six members of the Collovray & Terrier families officially work in the company and nurture its cohesion, surrounded by a close-knit, loyal and passionate team. Around these pillars, other family members lend their support and expertise here and there. Some of them grow vines whose grapes Collovray & Terrier purchases, ensuring quality of supply and consistent working methods.
